Russia’s Shvabe Holding has created anti-COVID thermal imagers with functions of face recognition and independent decision-making. The equipment can be used to control and pass people at checkpoints.
The complex of devices includes a thermal imager, a workstation with special software and a black body for image calibration. According to the developer, the system will be able to identify a person, recognize whether his face is hidden behind a protective mask, and record video.
The equipment can be integrated with the building’s access control and management system. So, the device will be able to work independently, if necessary, notifying the operator. To visualize the information received, the complex is equipped with a full-format screen.
