The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Egypt has held a meeting with EUTCC representatives in order to attract the resources of regional and international companies to implement promising projects in Uzbekistan.
EUTCC representatives were presented projects of Uzeltechsanoat Association, Uzkimyosanoat JSC, Namangan and Fergana regional hokimiyats.
EUTCC leadership expressed interest in establishing cooperation with public and private companies in Uzbekistan in implementation of investment projects. It was emphasized that over the past 4 years, thanks to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s new economic policy, fundamental changes have taken place in the country, in particular, free currency conversion has been ensured, inflation and budget deficit have been reduced, and the stability of national currency is maintained.
EUTCC, among many others, is ready to implement infrastructure, energy and educational projects based on public-private partnership, including using the mechanism of initial public offering and conducting mergers.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to organize a visit of EUTCC delegation to Uzbekistan for holding talks in the ministries and agencies responsible for implementing projects in energy, construction of social facilities, agriculture and food industry.
