Uzbekistan’s Ambassador to the Benelux countries Dilyor Khakimov met with the Registrar of the International Court of Justice Philippe Gautier, in Hague.
Cooperation issues between the International Court of Justice and Uzbekistan, in particular, prospects for cooperation in training and retraining legal personnel were discussed at the meeting.
The possibility of involving court experts in development and reformation of Uzbekistan’s national legislation were considered.
Following the negotiations, an agreement was reached on joint elaboration of issues of sending Uzbekistan specialists for internship at the International Court of Justice, as well as participation of representatives of the court in the events, in Uzbekistan.
