Shavkat Mirziyoyev
Shavkat Mirziyoyev currently serves as the President of Uzbekistan. Since he took office in 2016, he has introduced significant reforms across the political, economic, and social sectors. Noteworthy accomplishments include economic liberalization, improved transparency in public administration, and the strengthening of rule of law. He remains committed to the implementation of the New Uzbekistan 2022-2026 strategy, aspiring to shape a more liberal and progressive Uzbekistan.
On July 18, invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov with his spouse arrived in our country on a state visit.
They were received by the Head of our state at the Tashkent International Airport.
The state flags of the two countries were raised and a guard of honor was lined up in honor of the distinguished guest.
In accordance with the programme, high-level talks will be held during which issues of further deepening of Uzbek-Kyrgyz relations of comprehensive strategic partnership will be discussed.
Following the summit, it is planned to launch a number of major joint cooperation projects and to sign a substantial package of bilateral documents.
