/IA "Dunyo"/. At the invitation of Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will pay a state visit to Qatar on October 1-2, reports a correspondent of "Dunyo" information agency.
According to the press service of the head of our state, in accordance with the program of the stay, it is envisaged to hold bilateral negotiations at the highest level, as well as participation in the opening ceremony of the international exhibition "EXPO Doha - 2023" - "Green Desert, Better Environment".
During the upcoming negotiations, the leaders will discuss the state and prospects for the development of Uzbek-Qatari cooperation and exchange views on current international and regional issues.
Following the state visit, a package of documents is expected to be signed aimed at further strengthening bilateral relations in various fields.
Let us recall that, at the invitation of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, visited our country on a state visit on June 5-6 of this year. The visit of the head of Qatar to Uzbekistan was the first in more than 25 years of diplomatic relations between the two states. Following the negotiations in Samarkand, the leaders of the two countries agreed to take bilateral relations to a new level.
