Vice-Rector for International Cooperation at Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies Elyor Makhmudov has held virtual talks with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Uzbekistan Mehmet Süreyya Er. They discussed the cooperation of this University with higher education institutions of Turkey.
The parties gave a positive assessment to the growth of cooperation indicators. It was also noted that foreign teachers have made a great contribution to the development of Turkology.
As it was noted at the meeting two more teachers are going to start permanent teaching activities at the University of Oriental Studies. The sides exchanged views on the organization of joint educational programs with Ankara Haci Bayram Veli University on linguistics of Turkish language and study of tourism in master's program.
Following the talks, the Ambassador thanked the University leadership for the attention to the development of Turkology. In turn, the University leadership expressed boundless respect for the attention and assistance provided by the Ambassador.
