The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia has organized a videoconference with the leadership of Taylor’s University to discuss the possibility of creating a joint education institution for tourism in the city of Bukhara.
During the negotiations, the Malaysian side got acquainted with the activities of “Silk Road” International University of Tourism and Bukhara College of Tourism. In particular, detailed information was provided on cooperation of these domestic education institutions with foreign partners in implementation of education programs, the provision of double diplomas and opening of branches of foreign universities in Uzbekistan in tourism, hospitality and culinary business.
In turn, representatives of Taylor’s University expressed interest in establishing cooperation with Uzbekistan partners on the implementation of an educational project on the basis of Bukhara College of Tourism at the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism. In particular, the Malaysian university is ready to consider the possibility of introducing educational programs in tourism, hospitality and management.
