UZBEKISTAN – AUSTRIA DIPLOMA FOR UNIVERSITY GRADUATES

On October 22, 2018, Tashkent State University of Economics hosted opening ceremony of the first Uzbekistan – Austria joint faculty, which has been established in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences of Austria (IMC University Krems), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan reports.

Delegation led by the Chief Executive Director of the University Professor Karl Ennsfellner has arrived in Tashkent to attend the solemn event.

According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Austria, IMC University Krems was founded in 1994 as a private International Business School. In April 2002, the Government of Austria upgraded the status of this institution and renamed it to the University of Applied Sciences of Austria.

IMC University Krems is one of the most financially secure and elite universities in Austria, ranked the first place in the country on the index of student satisfaction with educational process and largest number of subjects taught in English. The level of employment after completion of training is 98%. University has 3 institutes (business administration, healthcare and biotechnology), which train specialists in 27 areas.

Since 2019, the joint faculty will start training 100 bachelors in such unique for international economic relations and demanded for Uzbekistan specialty as export-oriented management, as well as in the direction of tourism and hotel management.

Training will be conducted in English, and after graduation, graduates will receive two diplomas – TSUE and IMC University Krems.
