The Ministry of Public Education together with Oracle is connecting 30 general secondary education institutions from all regions of Uzbekistan to the Oracle Academy online platform. Trainings are planned for computer science teachers, training courses for high school students.
The Ministry of Public Education and Oracle held an online webinar for teachers of pilot schools.
The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Public Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan R. Karimjonov, Oracle Representative in the CIS countries J. Sokolova, Head of the Department for Integration of Education and Production K. Saytov, 14 responsible employees of regional departments of public education, 30 directors of secondary schools and 60 teachers.
Deputy Minister of Public Education R. Karimjonov gave relevant instructions on setting up computer equipment for pilot schools and connecting to high-speed Internet. He noted that school graduates who successfully completed online courses will be able to get an international certificate.
