The staff of Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, in cooperation with the Embassy of Korea in Uzbekistan, has launched joint online lectures “Team Korea” for students of Korean Studies Department. In 2020-2021 academic year, it is planned to hold 27 lectures on Korean studies by employees of the Embassy, as well as organizations and companies subordinate to it in Uzbekistan – KOICA, KOTRA, KOFIH, KIND, Exim Bank, Samsung and Lotte Global Logistics. This is the first such pilot project of TSUOS with diplomatic missions, as well as a new project for Korean Embassy in cooperation with Uzbekistan higher education institutions.

According to the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, it is proposed to open branches of such foreign universities as Incheon National University and the University of Hull (South Korea), UCSI University (Malaysia), Sharda, Manipal Jaipur and LNCT Universities (India) in Nukus.
