Khokim of Samarkand region Erkinjon Turdimov held virtual negotiations with the Governor of China’s Henan province, Yin Hong.
At the meeting, the parties discussed the development of interregional cooperation between Samarkand region and Henan province, identified steps to further expand cooperation between the parties in priority areas, including in the fight against COVID-19.
Special attention was paid to issues of cooperation in trade, economic, investment and other spheres.
Governor Yin Hong emphasized that Uzbekistan is becoming one of the priority countries in the focus of attention of Henan province entrepreneurs.
In turn, the Khokim of Samarkand region invited Henan companies to implement projects on creating high-tech production of finished products in such areas as agriculture, mechanical engineering, pharmaceuticals, chemical industry, production of electrical products, food industry, introduction of modern energy-efficient and resource-saving technologies and other areas.
