Clinical trials of COVID-19 vaccine, created with participation of the Ministry of Defense of Russia, are being completed at Burdenko Hospital. The last group of volunteers consisting of 20 people is being discharged now.
The work will not end with vaccine trials. Scientists will have to make final reports, provide results and register the drug.
Hundreds of laboratories around the world are engaged in creating a drug for infection. Almost 140 vaccines are undergoing clinical trials in animals and about 20 vaccines have reached human trials stage. 3-4 groups from China and the United States report on the latest stage of clinical trials of the vaccine.
