Samarkand sericulturists harvested 49 350 boxes of grains, prepared 2721 tons of cocoons and fulfilled the contract plan.
Kattakurgan, Pastdargom, Narpay, Akdarya, Pakhtachi, Ishtikhan and Payarik sericulturists yielded high results.
Main part of the product is processed here and exported.
