There is a deep meaning in holding in Surkhandarya the prestigious festival dedicated to the promotion of oral folk art. The art of dastan is preserved to the greatest extent in this oasis.
Within the framework of activities carried out in the country to support and develop the art of bakhshi, special classes in bakhshi art are organized in the children’s school of music, art, and bakhshi art No. 22 of the city of Termez, a number of modern schools of music and art of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Khorezm, Samarkand, Kashkadarya and Surkhandarya regions.
At the press conference, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan B.Sayfullayev answered in detail the questions of foreign and domestic journalists.
