Presidents of Uzbekistan and Belarus talk over the phone

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev sincerely congratulated Alexander Lukashenko on a convincing triumph in the presidential elections, and wished him new, great success in ensuring the sustainable development and prosperity of Belarus.

 

The two leaders discussed current issues in the bilateral agenda and the traditionally close interaction within the framework of regional organizations.

 

Dynamics of Uzbekistan – Belarus multidimensional relations, primarily the practical cooperation in trade and economic sphere observed in recent years, was noted with satisfaction.

 

The parties agreed to intensify the dialogue, including within the framework of the joint Intergovernmental Commission, in order to timely implement the agreements reached at the highest level, promote promising cooperation projects among the leading enterprises of the two countries and enhance cultural and humanitarian exchange programs.
