RIYADH, August 18. /“Dunyo” IA/. Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Saudi Arabia Ulugbek Maksudov has met with representatives of the Islamic Development Bank Group, in Jeddah, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
The parties discussed the development of bilateral relations and preparations for the 46th Annual Meeting of the IsDB to be held from August 31 to September 4 this year in Tashkent.
It was noted that preparations for the meeting are being carried out according to a plan, and the IsDB regional office in Almaty is conducting a constant dialogue with Uzbekistan in this direction.
The sides also exchanged views on simplifying visa procedures for conference participants, forming a list of participants and representatives of foreign media.
It is expected that businesspeople and investors from South Korea, Japan, China and other countries, representatives of the Asian Development Bank and several banks will be invited to the annual meeting of the IsDB Boards of Governors in Tashkent.
