TASHKENT, March 17. /“Dunyo” IA/. Yesterday, Warsaw hosted the 8th round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Poland, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
According to Uzbekistan MFA, Uzbekistan delegation was led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Sherzod Asadov, and the Polish delegation was led by Deputy Foreign Minister Marcin Przydacz.
The current state and prospects of bilateral relations, as well as the interaction within the framework of multilateral structures, were discussed at the meeting.
Views were exchanged on increasing cooperation in trade-economic and financial-investment spheres. In this context, the proposals on attracting Polish investments and technologies to the implementation of projects in Uzbekistan, increasing the export of national products to Poland were considered.
Special attention was paid to improving the legal framework of bilateral relations.
The parties expressed interest in further enhancing contacts in education, science, healthcare, and culture.
Views were also exchanged on international and regional issues of mutual interest.
