Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Poland Bahrom Babayev met with the Director General of Poland’s ARNO, Richard Nowakowski, and the head of Ton-Pol, Antoni Stankiewicz.
At the meeting, the possibilities of promoting the development of intensive horticulture in Uzbekistan with the involvement of technologies and specialists from Poland, as well as creation of orchards of dwarf and semi-dwarf fruit trees were discussed.
It is planned to organize training for up to 200 Uzbekistan gardeners from all the regions of the country annually, as well as their study trips to the city of Grójec to directly study the experience.
Richard Nowakowski confirmed his readiness to invite up to 30 horticultural workers free of charge for a period of 3 to 6 months for practical training and advanced training in cultivation of intensive orchards and rootstocks of dwarf and semi-dwarf trees.
