Uzbekistan – Turkmenistan Inter-MFA Consultations

Representatives of consular services of foreign ministries, law enforcement agencies and diplomatic missions of the two countries attended the meeting.

 

The parties discussed a number of consular issues of mutual interest and prospects for further bilateral cooperation in this direction.

 

Special attention was paid to issues of cooperation in migration, implementation of provisions of existing bilateral agreements. The current state and prospects of interaction between law enforcement agencies of the two countries were also considered.

 

Following the negotiations, an agreement was reached to intensify interagency cooperation and expand cooperation in consular, legal and migration spheres.
