Uzbekistan, Singapore parliamentarians discuss issues of mutual interest

The parties exchanged views on further intensifying cooperation between Singapore and Uzbekistan in political, inter-parliamentary, trade, economic, financial and educational spheres.

 

Jessica Tan Soon Neo emphasized that bilateral relations in recent years have significantly intensified. This applies to both government and business circles of the two countries. This trend is a good opportunity for further deepening cooperation on issues of mutual interest.

 

The parties considered the prospects for further enhancing interaction in education and the financial sector. Issues of development of the stock and securities market, information and communication technologies, the eradication of corruption, the fight against international fundamentalism and extremism were discussed.
