Uzbekistan, Latvia establish Transport Working Group

Uzbekistan delegation was headed by the Deputy Minister of Transport Davron Dehkanov, the Latvian – by the Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Transport Uldis Reimanis.

 

According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Riga, the practical aspects of cooperation between specialized structures of Uzbekistan and Latvia in transport, logistics and transit were discussed at the meeting.

 

The result of the event, which has taken place in a traditionally constructive atmosphere, was the achievement of an agreement on raising partnership in this area to a new level by creating Uzbekistan – Latvia Working Group on Transport Cooperation, designed to become a comprehensive platform for the prompt discussion of cooperation in international road transport, aviation and rail links.
