Uzbekistan, India banks discuss implementation of socially significant projects

With the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in India, negotiations were held between the leadership of Sanoat Qurilish Bank (Uzbekistan Industrial and Construction Bank) and Export-Import Bank of India, via videoconference.

Deputy Chairman of Sanoat Qurilish Bank Z. Azimov informed the Indian partners about the bank, its activities and ongoing investment projects.
 
The Export-Import Bank of India was invited to participate in joint financing of the implementation of socially significant projects in Uzbekistan, in particular, for production of hydrogen peroxide, pharmaceutical capsules and ionizers.
 
In turn, the Chief General Manager of India Exim Bank, Mukul Sarkar, noted the interest of the Indian side to participate in the implementation of these projects and expressed readiness to positively consider the proposals of the Uzbek side.
 
Following the negotiations, the parties reached an agreement to consider the issue of signing an appropriate loan agreement, maintaining a regular exchange of necessary information and opinions, including holding the next negotiations in the near future.
