Uzbekistan, Austria to hold Intergovernmental Commission Meeting

The parties discussed prospects of bilateral cooperation in the economic sphere, exchanged views on enhancing bilateral trade and economic relations, the creation of non-standard approaches to assisting entrepreneurs in the context of a global pandemic, as well as favorable conditions for representatives of the business community of the two countries.

 

An agreement was reached to hold the next meeting of Uzbekistan – Austria Intergovernmental Commission (IGC) on Trade and Economic Cooperation in Vienna in early 2021. Within the framework of the IGC meeting, it is planned to organize a visit of Uzbekistan businesspeople, as well as hold a business forum and an exhibition of export-oriented products of Uzbekistan manufacturers in the Austrian capital. B2B meetings are planned with leading Austrian companies in order to establish new contacts and sign mutually beneficial agreements.
