Strengthening cooperation in law enforcement discussed

The parties noted the positive dynamics in development of cooperation between law enforcement agencies of the two countries.

 

In order to discuss priority areas for further interaction, as well as exchange experience in ensuring law and order in the context of the coronavirus pandemic, the Korean side confirmed its readiness to hold talks with colleagues from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan via videoconference in the near future.

 

Korean National Police Agency’s readiness to organize online training for employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan on cybersecurity and combating cybercrime was noted.

 

Taking into account the consistent intensification of cooperation and in order to further improve the legal framework of interaction, the parties reached an agreement on the joint development of a new interdepartmental cooperation agreement.
