Promising areas of cooperation with Hungary in innovations identified

VIENNA, December 2. /“Dunyo” IA/. Uzbekistan delegation led by the Minister of Innovative Development Ibrahim Abdurakhmanov visited Hungary, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

Uzbekistan delegation met with Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Innovation and Technology László Palkovics, President of the Hungarian Association of Industrial, Science, Innovation and Technology Parks Norbert Mórucz, Rector of the University of Physical Education Tamás Sterbenz and Rector of Obuda University, Professor Levente Kovács.

During the talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, Péter Szijjártó, the parties discussed the results of joint measures that have been implemented so far. To further strengthen cooperation between Uzbekistan and Hungary in the scientific and innovative field, an agreement was reached on the allocation of 20 grant quotas starting 2022 for Uzbekistan scientists, researchers and athletes for training and research in Hungary.

At the meeting with the Minister of Innovation and Technology of Hungary László Palkovics, promising directions for the development of cooperation in the field of innovation were studied.

At the meeting, the Minister of Innovative Development, Academician Ibrahim Abdurakhmonov was awarded the title of Honorary Professor of Obuda University.

During the talks in the Hungarian Association of Industrial, Science, Innovation and Technology Parks, the parties discussed issues of developing cooperation between the science and technology parks of the two countries.
