On March 29, 2019, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan Darkhan Satybaldy.
Accepting copies of his credentials, Minister warmly congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and wished him success in strengthening relations between the two countries and people.
Current issues of Uzbekistan – Kazakhstan cooperation were discussed during the conversation.
As it was noted, Uzbekistan respects Kazakhstan’s achievements in the implementation of political and socio-economic reforms, the basis of which was laid by the First President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
The schedule and agenda of the upcoming bilateral contacts at various levels, as well as issues related to the Year of Kazakhstan in Uzbekistan, were also discussed at the meeting.
