Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdullah Aripov met with the Chief Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Abdullah Abdullah.
At the meeting, expansion of economic cooperation and humanitarian exchange between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan was noted. Intensification of visits of delegations of various levels, in particular, the dialogue of the heads of the two states at the highest level, is an important factor in development of friendly and reliable partnership.
Success of the visit of the government of Uzbekistan to Afghanistan this year was emphasized. In order to achieve peace in a neighboring country, Uzbekistan expressed its readiness to support people and government of Afghanistan.
The parties noted the firmness of the decision to further strengthen relations between the two states.
