On January 11-17, a regular meeting of the working groups of the Joint Uzbekistan – Turkmenistan Intergovernmental Commission on the issues of delimitation and demarcation of the State border between the Republic of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan was held in Karshi city.
During the negotiations, proposals on passing the project demarcation line of Uzbekistan – Turkmenistan State border were considered.
The parties considered and agreed on a Distribution table of demarcation activities at Uzbekistan – Turkmenistan State border.
The meeting was held in a traditional atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, following the negotiations, a relevant Protocol was signed.
