TASHKENT, February 18. /“Dunyo” AA/. Dilfuza Uralova from Sirdarya Region has been appointed a Khokim of Bauyat district of the same region, informs the correspondent of “Dunyo” IA.
Uralova, who previously served as the Deputy Khokim of Sirdarya region of Uzbekistan, became the first women to be elected to the position among currently serving khokims on a district, city and regional level.
News on her appointment came following the extraordinary session of the district council of people’s deputies.
