Abdulaziz Kamilov meets with Afghanistan’s Foreign Minister

The state and prospects of development of interstate interaction in political, trade-economic, energy, transport-communication and other areas were discussed at the meeting.

 

Special attention was paid to the implementation of agreements reached within the framework of bilateral contacts at the highest level.

 

Haneef Atmar expressed deep gratitude to President Shavkat Mirziyoyev for Uzbekistan's firm support and active assistance in achieving peace, social and economic reconstruction of Afghanistan.

 

The parties noted with satisfaction the dynamic nature of multifaceted cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.

 

Other issues on Uzbekistan – Afghanistan agenda were also discussed during the negotiations.
