A competition among bakhshi-akyns, singers and folklore groups was held in Durmon Culture Palace of Kibray district.
The event, organized on the eve of the International Bakhshi Art Festival, which is expected to be held on April 5-10, 2019 in Termez, was attended by 8 teams and 12 bakhshi from Uzbekistan.
According to the decision of the jury, the winners became a bakhshi M.Aliyev from Parkent, B.Latipov and Y.Davronbekov from Pskent, the representative of Yukorichirchik district T.Urinbekov. The teams Kurama of Akhangaran district, Turgay of Akkurgan district and Parkent Chashmasi from Parkent district won the competition among creative teams. The winners got the right to participate in the International Bakhshi Art Festival.
Winners and active participants of the competition were presented with diplomas and memorable gifts.
