Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Important kurash competitions are scheduled for 2022. This sports season, the calendar plan of the International Kurash Association and continental Confederations includes more than 50 prestigious events.
In particular, in March, the Asian Championship among adults and youth will be held in Uzbekistan, and the Summer Asian Games will be held in the Chinese city of Hangzhou in September. And at the end of November, world champions among adults will be held in India. Also this year, international tournaments for the prizes of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, seminars for coaches and judges in kurash will be organized in our country and in European countries.
At the meeting, held in the International Kurash Association, issues of organizing these competitions at a high level, further development of the National sport in the international arena were also discussed. Representatives of the International Kurash Association and the Asian-Ocean Kurash Confederation, the International Kurash Institute, the Kurash Federation of Uzbekistan, the International Press Club and media representatives took part in the meeting.
During the meeting, they emphasized the importance of joint and well-coordinated work in a team in organizing high-level goals and objectives. As a result, the International Press Club signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Asian-Ocean Kurash Confederation and the Kurash Federation of Uzbekistan. One of the main goals of this document, of course, is an even wider promotion and popularization of the National type of martial arts throughout the world.
