International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has published a new international standard, which has been adopted by Uzstandard Agency.
New standard covers classification of varieties and colors of asparagus, as well as definition of such properties as acidity, packaging, storage and transportation. Users of the standard can be sure that their delicious green (white or purple) treats will meet all expectations.
ISO 20981 is one of the hundreds of international ISO standards related to food industry. It was developed by SC 3, a Sub-Committee of ISO/TC 34 Technical Committee.
