On December 11, 2018, the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Benelux countries in cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality of the Netherlands will host a workshop on opportunities of Uzbekistan in the agri-food sector, in Almere.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, the goal of the workshop is to inform participants working in agri-food sector about events and opportunities in Uzbekistan. In addition, the workshop participants will be informed about the plans of the Ministry of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality regarding the direction of the Netherlands agricultural trade mission to Tashkent in March 2019 and organization of Netherlands pavilion at one of the most important agricultural fairs in the capital of Uzbekistan in June 2019.
The workshop will allow to establish contacts with leading manufacturers of the Netherlands – a country that is considered the locomotive in production of meat and dairy products in the world, as well as to become acquainted with innovative technologies in processing of raw materials intended for production of food products.
