NBU assists to increase the volume of procurement and export of agricultural products

On July 13-23, 2020, the National Bank of Uzbekistan held a virtual webinar with participation of business entities of Bukhara and Khorezm regions who want to engage in procurement and processing of agricultural products and build modern greenhouses in agricultural zones.

 

During the event, responsible employees of the Bank informed about the rules for allocating credit, foreign credit lines in the Bank and conditions for attracting them, the need for at least 30 percent of the initiator's funds during the project implementation, and payment in the form of an advance of 15 percent of the cost of import agreement from the entrepreneur's funds.

 

Business entities were given recommendations on implementation of new promising projects and presented an electronic manual developed by NBU together with the Research Institute named after academician M. Mirzayev on growing pomegranates in the country based on the experience of gardeners in Kuva.
