“Modern Village” project discussed

Pilot plans for the implementation of the project have been developed for the village of Bustonobod in Pakhtaabad district and Yangi Hayot mahalla in Kurgantepa district. According to the project, necessary engineering and communications infrastructure will be created in rural areas and apartment buildings will be built. Apartments will be provided mainly to large families living in one house and low-income families.

 

The Head of the state emphasized the need for formation of Andijan experience in this direction. It was indicated to develop a separate project, to make houses in the “Modern Village” cheaper than others.

 

Projects on reducing poverty in the region, renovation of individual houses based on mortgages were also considered.
