TASHKENT, January 15. /“Dunyo” IA/. Yesterday, Uzbekistan MFA hosted a meeting of the Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan Alisher Sultanov with heads of diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan abroad, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
Participants were informed about the current priorities and plans for the development of Uzbekistan’s fuel-energy industry, including the participation of foreign investments and the creation of new opportunities, renewable energy sources.
Detailed explanations were given on the mechanisms for effective implementation of investment projects, including projects based on PPP. Promising areas of cooperation with foreign companies were outlined.
The Minister expressed gratitude to the heads of Uzbekistan diplomatic missions for their assistance in attracting foreign investors and partners. In particular, successful cooperation with such large international companies as Masdar from the UAE and ACWA Power from Saudi Arabia was noted.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on the formats of cooperation to effectively promote the development of the country's fuel and energy complex.
