On January 10, the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Nematov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Uzbekistan Vinod Kumar.
At the meeting, preparations for participation of Uzbekistan delegation in the upcoming 9th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2019 and bilateral summit in India were considered.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the parties discussed the schedule and agenda of the planned events within the framework of Gujarati Summit, as well as organizational and protocol issues related to participation of Uzbekistan delegation. The importance of accelerated implementation of agreements reached at the highest level in the sphere of medicine, pharmaceuticals and education was emphasized.
