On October 14, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. Ikramov held a videoconference with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Uzbekistan Peter Santo.
The parties discussed issues of signing an Agreement of Uzbekistan – Hungary Business Council within the framework of the planned Uzbekistan – Hungary Intergovernmental Commission, as well as holding a Business Council Meeting.
Views were exchanged on prospects of Uzbekistan – Hungary relations in trade-economic and investment spheres.
Following the meeting, the sides confirmed the existence of a huge potential for further enhancing trade-economic and investment cooperation, considered mechanisms for increasing the volume of bilateral trade.
