On February 15, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Malaysia Ravshan Usmanov visited the production facilities of TXMR, where he met with its Managing Director Tengku Farid, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan reports.
TXMR is one of the leaders in automation and robоtic systems not only in Malaysia, but also in the entire Southeast Asia. Partners of the company are bоth European and Asian leading corporations.
At the meeting, prospects for creation in Uzbekistan of modern high-tech enterprises with attraction of foreign investment, advanced foreign experience and know-how were discussed.
The Malaysian side highly appreciated measures taken by Uzbekistan on modernizing the industrial sector, expanding the range of import-substituting products and emphasized its interest in establishing mutually beneficial contacts.
Following the negotiations, an agreement was reached on organizing a visit of TXMR’s leadership to Uzbekistan in April to discuss issues of creation of a joint production of robоtics in Uzbekistan. This will provide necessary conditions for improving the efficiency and profitability of domestic production lines on production of competitive products for domestic and foreign markets.
