Kuwait airlines plan to operate direct flights to Uzbekistan from March

TASHKENT, January 29. /“Dunyo” IA/. Deputy Prime Minister, Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism Development of Uzbekistan Aziz Abdukhakimov has held talks with a delegation of Jazeera Airways, led by Vice President Ravindran Bharathan, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.

According to the Committee, the parties discussed issues of launching direct flights from Kuwait to the cities of Uzbekistan, increasing the flow of Kuwaiti tourists to the country and developing cooperation in tourism.

The Kuwaiti delegation expressed interest in opening a new regular air route Kuwait – Tashkent from March 2021, as well as other tourism centers of Uzbekistan.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to hold joint promotional events and info-tours aimed at promoting the tourism potential of Uzbekistan in Kuwait, increasing the recognition of the country’ tourism destinations in this Arab country, and, accordingly, increasing the flow of tourists.
