Khiva has officially launched a pilot project on the introduction of high-speed wireless Internet, implemented by the Malaysian company Hadid Engineering.

Digitalizing Khiva City project worth 2 million USD with the assistance of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia was implemented in less than 5 months. The project agreement was signed in early April this year at the international investment forum in Khorezm region.
In January, the Malaysian side established Hadid Kazanakh LLC in Tashkent to implement investment projects in Uzbekistan. The representative office of the company also began its activities in Khorezm.
According to Uzbekistan MFA, Hadid Engineering intends to consider the possibility of implementing similar projects in other regions of Uzbekistan by attracting own investments.
