WASHINGTON, November 27. /“Dunyo” IA/. The Embassy of Uzbekistan in the USA organized a virtual meeting between the Adviser to the Hokim of Syrdarya region Shokhrukh Isakulov with the Founder and President of MIR Corporation Douglas Grimes, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
The parties discussed prospects for establishing direct partnership between the Hokimiyat of Syrdarya region and MIR Corporation, developing the tourism potential of the region, increasing the recognition of the region’s attractions among American visitors.
At the meeting, the American side was informed in detail about the possibilities of tourism, cultural and historical centers, sights of Uzbekistan and individual regions of the country. Representatives of MIR Corporation were informed about the state of tourism development in Uzbekistan, new achievements and trends in the industry.
Following the talks, an agreement was reached to study the possibilities of Syrdarya region and promising directions for development of the region’s tourism brand to actively attract guests from the United States.
