The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Israel, together with Israel’s Export Credit Agency ASHRA, has organized an online presentation of trade-economic and investment potential of Uzbekistan.
The event was attended by about 40 representatives of Israeli business community, including 20 leading companies in agriculture and water management, information technology, telecommunications, green technologies, as well as Discount Bank. Representatives of the Ministry of Water Resources, the Agency for Attracting Foreign Investments under the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Agrobank took part in the event from the Uzbek side.
Uzbekistan agencies and organizations made presentations on the current economic situation and investment potential of Uzbekistan. An interest was expressed in attracting a credit line from Israeli banks with insurance from ASHRA, as well as in building up business cooperation with Israeli companies.
In turn, ASHRA and Discount Bank presented mechanisms for attracting long-term loans for the implementation of joint projects abroad. The readiness for cooperation with enterprises of Uzbekistan in agriculture and water management, energy, medical and other spheres was noted.
