Delegation led by Chairman of the Georgian Parliament I.Kobakhidze visited the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Investments.
At the meeting, prospects of development of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Georgia in trade-economic, investment, tourism, transport-logistics spheres and formation of transit corridors were discussed.
I.Kobakhidze especially noted that Uzbekistan is on a new stage of development under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. He also emphasized that the developing economy of Georgia, in particular, positive trends in the spheres of tourism, pharmaceutics, food industry, allowing to establish mutually beneficial cooperation.
Proposals were made on conducting business forums and consultations of business circles for strengthening trade-economic and investment relations between Uzbekistan and Georgia.
