Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - On 28 October, the Festival of National Souvenirs is being held in all regions of the country. Events in Tashkent took place at the State Museum of Applied Arts and Handicraft History of Uzbekistan. The program includes exhibitions-fairs, contests and master classes of artisans, accompanied by performances of folklore and ethnographic groups and dance groups.
The establishment of trade in national souvenirs created by local artisans will contribute to the sustainable socio-economic development of the regions, ensuring the employment of artisans and their material and moral support.
Festival participants will receive certificates of appreciation.
The festival is organized in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures for the further development of domestic and pilgrim tourism in the Republic of Uzbekistan" from 9 February 2021.
