Yesterday, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Seoul organized virtual talks between the Head of the Department for Cooperation with the Republic of Korea of the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan (MIFT) Shokhrukh Rakhimov and Executive Director, Senior Director of the Investment & Finance Coordination Department of Korea Trade Insurance Corporation K-Sure, Kim Ho-ill, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
The parties discussed the mechanisms of possible financing of investment projects in Uzbekistan by K-Sure, in particular in the automotive, metallurgical and pharmaceutical industries.
The South Korean side was informed about cooperation in the implementation of investment projects with government and financial organizations of Korea, including Eximbank and EDCF. Information was also provided on the preparation of promising investment projects in the industry to attract credit funds from foreign financial organizations.
K-Sure provided detailed information on the activities and financing conditions of the Corporation and expressed interest in establishing collaboration in these areas.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue discussing the possibility of financing investment projects in the industrial sector by K-Sure through the exchange of necessary information, if necessary via videoconference with the participation of project initiators and specialists in relevant spheres.
