TRADING HOUSE OF UZBEKISTAN TO BE CREATED IN MALAYSIA

Ambassador of Uzbekistan in Kuala Lumpur Ravshan Usmanov held talks with the founder of the largest wholesale mall in Malaysia, GM Klang Wholesale City, Lim Kok.

At the meeting, issues of further development of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries were discussed, including by increasing the volume of exports of Uzbekistan products to Malaysia, as well as its diversification.

Lim Kok expressed interest in establishing cooperation with major exporters of the country and expressed readiness to provide comprehensive support for the entry of Uzbekistan products into the Malaysian market.

Following the talks, agreements were reached on provision by the Malaysian side of a one-year free of charge space in the central pavilion of GM Klang Wholesale City center for opening a trading house in the form of a showroom of exported products of Uzbekistan, as well as organization of the visit of Lim Kok to Uzbekistan in October 2019 for considering the possibility of creating a similar center in the country.
