Namangan Pakhta Teks LLC, specializing in textile industry, has been launched in Namangan.
The company implemented a project for 92 billion UZS for processing cotton fiber and producing yarn and finished fabrics. State-of-the-art spinning, weaving, sewing and dyeing lines for .5 million were purchased from China.
The opening ceremony was attended by Namangan region’s Acting Hokim Shavkat Abdurazzakov and labor veteran Khorunkhon Ayubkhonov. It was noted that the creation of such a large complex based on a cluster system is important for the region's economy.
Namangan Pakhta Teks LLC has been allocated 3,955 hectares of land for growing raw cotton in Kasansay district. This year, it is planned to harvest 11,300 tons of raw cotton.
