TASHKENT, December 28. /“Dunyo” IA/. Practical training workshops for heads of territorial divisions of the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade (MIFT) kick off in Tashkent, reports “Dunyo” IA correspondent.
According to MIFT, workshops are held in such areas as “Modern business and factors of further business development”, "Teamwork and other aspects of resource management", "Advanced and innovative methodologies for the successful implementation of investment projects", "Attraction of modern, innovative and energy-saving technologies of developed countries" and "The role of large investors in the development of territories". The course is attended by the heads of all 221 territorial divisions of the Ministry, who are also deputy hokims at the level of regions, districts and cities of the country.
The participants are studying advanced foreign practices of working with investors and initiators of investment projects, conducting business negotiations, practical aspects of attracting investment to the regions, modern methods of developing investment projects and business plans, conducting a SWOT analysis, implementing digitalization components to increase the investment attractiveness of regions. Trainings are also held on the organization of the work of project teams and project offices created to develop and increase the investment activity of the regions and provide practical assistance to the initiators of investment projects.
The event participants discussed current issues and problems they face in practice during their work. In particular, aspects of interaction with foreign partners, the most effective mechanisms for attracting investments for the implementation of projects in Uzbekistan, the principles of developing investment projects aimed at increasing the industrial and export potential of industries and regions, increasing the production of import-substituting products and creating new jobs were considered.
Practical workshops for heads of territorial divisions of the Ministry will last until December 29, 2021.
